Whilst we await the reopening of our churches doors, you may join our live Mass stream each day:
Online video courses
Lockdown has closed the body of our churches, and social distancing seeks to keep us apart from each other. However, the Eucharist continues to call us together — join us through your screen in these weekly online events by emailing email@example.com
NEW – Scripture Study: Mondays 7.30pm
Join a group that will explore the Gospel according to Matthew over 8 weeks. Each hourly session begins with a short chat (supply your own coffee) then we provide materials to help you explore the naratives and discourses of this first book of the New Testament.
NEW – Lectio Divina: Wednesdays 10.30am
This is a very ancient way of praying the scriptures and one recommended by Bishop Richard. It is a time of prayer and meditation where we open our hearts to the experience of the Presence of God in His Written Word. In this fortnightly meeting we have the opportunity to build community with each other and to go deeper in prayer
Video & Discussion: Wednesdays 7.30pm
When we gather in small groups to engage in conversations about faith, it helps us to open our eyes to the world around us, to see the truth in what we do, and to share creative joy with the people we encounter.
Over four weeks we will watch the twenty minute videos on "The Joy of Hope" and have discussion time afterwards.
Christian Meditation: Fridays 10am
Listen to your soul in silent prayer. By repeating a holy word we "lay aside our thoughts", as the desert fathers urged us to do. Then we can simply be attentive to the presence of God in the depths of our being.
See www.theschoolofmeditation.org for more about this form of prayer. Our sessions will consist of a short talk and introduction to the practice followed by twenty minutes of silent meditation. Sign up by email below.
Whether you prefer to explore your faith in dicussion, in silence or through study, find out more from firstname.lastname@example.org
