Meditation Group

Lent & Advent Groups

These prayer and study groups meet weekly in parishioners homes during the liturgical seasons of Lent and Advent. In these small groups parishioners pray together, aiming to deepen their understanding and love of scripture, and to experience friendship and support as they prepare for Easter and Christmas. Usually the focus is on the Sunday Gospel.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

“Jesus awaits us in this Sacrament of love. Let us not refuse the time to go to meet Him in adoration, in contemplation, full of faith, and open to making amends for the serious offences and crimes of the world. Let our adoration never cease.” (Pope John Paul II)

Every Monday during the seasons of Advent and Lent we have perpetual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament in the church from 9am – 8pm. Sign up for a Holy Hour each week and come and spend time with Our Lord in the most Holy Eucharist. What better way to spend an hour? For more information contact the parish office.

Young Adults Group

A space for young adults and students from across Brighton & Hove to journey deeper, explore life & faith, grow as disciples, build strong friendships, and get involved in mission. We meet every Thursday evening in term time in the Upper Room of St Joseph's Parish hall for food, a talk, prayer and a trip to our local pub! You're welcome to join us from 7pm, you'll find us at 6 Milton Road, Brighton, BN2 9TQ.
